Led by local trombonist
Alexandra Guerin, members of La
Big Band have a wide range of
professional musical experience.
They are free-lance musicians,
music students and teachers, and
military musicians from the Ottawa-
Gatineau region.
La Big Band ’s repertoire features
music from traditional swing
standards to contemporary jazz
compositions.
La Big Band ’s
main objective is
to support local
community
associations,
programs and
services by
providing musical
entertainment for
fund-raising
events, benefit
concerts,
telethons and
conventions.
